Our firm is the product of a highly qualified team of seasoned construction professionals. Each of our team members is a seasoned construction professional that works in partnership with one another, and with our clients. While Cadence may be a new name in construction, the people behind the name bring decades of relevant experience, ensuring that our clients enjoy a positive, focused approach throughout each project.

Kendall Wilson
Managing Manager
Kendall has more than 22 years of construction experience, successfully performing projects ranging in value from $400 thousand to $30 million. Kendall’s experience and capability spans the full range of construction operations. With demonstrated experience bidding, supervising, scheduling, permitting and organizing work flow, he has successfully supported projects from inception through closeout.
Furthermore, he excels at collaborating with Architect/Engineer teams to ensure project execution from inception through construction. Having successfully completed projects throughout Alaska, he is highly familiar with the state’s unique construction challenges. With leading education and training in construction management and business, he combines experience and knowledge to provide exceptional levels of quality.
Ross Horton
Project Manager
Ross has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He enjoys working with owners and investors to deliver the final project. Ross’ artistic and design skills, coupled with his construction knowledge, provide clients with a fresh perspective in commercial construction.
In addition to Ross’ professional experience, he also has formal education in both construction management and business. When Ross is not working on client projects, he is hunting, fishing, or exploring Alaska with his wife and kids.

Michaela "Coco" Duplesse
General Manager
With more than 20 years of business experience, Coco has significant experience in all aspects of business. She has managed companies in both the legal and construction fields.
In addition, she brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, human resources, and business development. These years of experience enable her to see that all aspects of the business, from employees, insurance, business relationships and all the financial aspects are run and maintained to the highest business standards.
Carolyn Kinzie
Project Coordinator/ Administrative Assistant
Carolyn is the newest member of our team. She received her education from Oregon State University. In the midst of the pandemic, she moved back home to Alaska where she finished her education online, receiving a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Despite her science background, she wanted to broaden her knowledge and branched out to Cadence as a Project Coordinator.
Additionally, Carolyn’s background ranges from customer service and hospitality to administrative and laboratory work. Aside from the administrative position of being a Project Coordinator, she is also helping take on the task of running Cadence’s social media accounts.
